Great. I've been neglecting my journal for so long that this might end up being some epic entry.

Anyway. Recently I had a chance encounter with a fellow student from Balamb at the beach. Isn't the sea just amazing? You get to bump into really random people. The sea must have some magic in it or something, because I didn't bump into some idiot again (the one who got a punch from me); instead I had an extremely good time with somebody who didn't mind all my questions and frivolity. We built the prettiest sandcastle I have ever built, and now I'm rather angry at myself for leaving the camera home that day. Oh, and I forgot to mention, his name is Will Turner. :D

Coming to live in the dorms really was a good idea. :) I had more freedom, and I got to meet really interesting people.  Being stuck in Sherwood with a heap of stuck up neighbors was just boring me out.

...although, when I got home and looked into the mirror, I realised that I got sand all over my face. I looked really funny, actually. Who cares?!

Then there was Alana's birthday some time ago. It was really fun! I mean, all the way up to before the party started. I like our own party much better, thanks. Of course, I love the dancing and the singing, but like I mentioned, the stuck up crowd isn't really my cup of tea. Every time we have some party, Daddy says we have to invite the neighbors, because they are neighbors, after all. I suppose he's right, but I always want to be somewhere else when I see them. Anyway, I digress. We made Alana's room into some sort of forest (to the best of our ability, that is). We had moments where we tripped up on some material or another, but no one was seriously hurt. xD

Aquata had so much fun (and for once she stopped being too fussy over us) that she suggested we do this for everyone's birthday this year! I would totally love that, but...I wonder if I could really request for an ocean-themed room? :(

Ice-skating is really fun, too. (: I slipped a couple of times but it doesn't matter. It feels like flying on one's legs! That doesn't quite make sense, does it?

I was bored. And I wanted to do something new. ...So I signed up for ice-skating classes on impulse. Oh dear. I'm supposed to be preparing for exams! Why am I doing this?!

But I am rather excited to start classes. Walking on (frozen) water. :D

Alana's birthday is two days away, and while there's that unfortunately rather dreadful party going on in the evening, the sisters and I are planning to give Alana's bedroom a revamp.  She's always loved the wild, and the animals, so we figured she might like a forest-themed bedroom. I can't wait to start! Attina and me are supposed to meet to get the materials.

Oh wait. I'm supposed to meet her NOW. Got to run!

I made this tiny octopus today! I was feeling kind of sad that I couldn't decorate the dorm as much as I'd like to, unlike back home, so I decided to make some more toys and put them on the shelves. (It was rather hard packing up those shelves though.)

I've also started on Lukas'  cat. (:

tired
Arista came by the dorm the other day.  She was looking very grumpy and all, so I figured she had a quarrel with Daddy (again). When I pointed that out to her, she immediately flared up at me, saying how I was always the lucky one, getting spoiled and getting all I wanted. She can take it all if she wants, if only that will make Daddy let me go to the sea! She cooled down after we argued, though, and started talking about happier things like how she went horseback riding the other day.

Then she saw the box of seashells in the corner of my room, and gave me a long stare.  My throat was seriously going dry, but then she smiled that knowing smile and did not speak of it.  Instead, she told me how everyone at home was doing.  Aquata, apparently, has picked up more cooking classes, and is much more in charge of the household now that Daddy is so busy in the company.  Adella bought bags and bags of new dresses such that she has ordered another closet so that her dresses could fit in. (I hear she plans to get Daddy to make a closet-room for her! I wonder if he will agree to it?) She's also doing really well in theatre at Balamb. (She's in her final year; I wonder why I never get to bump into her?)

At the end of it all, Arista slipped a tiny pearl into my hand, and left.

I suppose that is why we are the best of sisters among the seven of us.

curious
I asked Vincent out to the beach. It was a good outing, I suppose.  At least, I enjoyed it.  I managed to catch a red sunset because there were distinct clouds in the sky, and wow, just when I thought no shade on the watercolour palette could actually capture that sort of red, I saw his eyes and there was the sky!  Amazing little hints nature leaves.  Oh, and we found a unique pearl hidden among the sands on the shore. I don't know why he didn't want to keep it though.

I, um, was very clumsy as usual and now have a sprained ankle.  Vincent was very nice about it though...He even gave me advice over how to tend to my ankle.  I guess my first impressions about people are hardly ever right!

The ocean has always been great and still is.  How could anyone hate it or brush it off as a dull place?

Fantastic.  I should learn my lesson not to pile everything up on the shelves in my dorm.  (*coughs* Apparently I haven't learnt.) I put my basket of sharp objects (like scissors, needles, pen knifes and pins and whats-nots) next to the box of beads which was next to some books, which was below some fabric, which was next to some random box of stationery...

...and all this came falling down on me while I was reaching for the stationery. :(

At least I have cute plasters on my arm now. Haha. (They're really pretty.  Arista gave them to me before I moved into the dorm. There's one with little fishes, another green one with bubbles, and another purple one with...octopuses?) Guess i'm not going to wear short sleeves for a while. I look like some signboard with secret messages.

Before the mess, I managed to make one and a half bird(s) (the other one doesn't have one wing and one tail yet):

I found instructions for it from a website I visited here.

I met two strange people today, and both were professors.  The strangest professors of all...who were so strange I could hardly even try to ASSUME what they could be thinking! I wonder...?

I...asked someone out? Which was really strange of me to do so, I think.  I mean, I have never asked anyone else out except for Flounder and the sisters back home.  If Sebastian knew he would probably berate me. I hope he doesn't find out. I thought it would be nice to know more people while I'm here.  I'm determined to prove that while I'm out and away from home I can make my own way and do things my own way.

I think I must have scared him off or something (though might I say, he was rather more intimidating).  I'm always too blunt for my own good when curiosity gets the better of me and I start asking blurting out questions.

I would....really like to find that crocodile in Neverland Park right now. Ha.

I went to the sea for a swim today.  I didn't see Flounder around though (which was disappointing).  He is the only one who knows that I still go out to the sea to swim.  I know, I know, it isn't a very big place, but I've surprisingly managed to keep my beach visits a secret.  I guess it's because the family doesn't come to the beach -- at all.  (I suspect Arista does, but I've never caught her doing so...)

When I came out of the water, this little boy ran up to me and hand me this string of flowers:

They're pretty. :)

Oh. And then when I was on my way out of the beach this irritating guy came up from behind and started spouting a truckload of nonsense which I shall not mention here, and I was so pissed I turned on my heels and punched him right in the face.  I guess it wasn't very nice of me, considering how his remarks did not entirely earn that attack, but I couldn't help it (as usual...).  Gosh, I really must control myself (like someone back home constantly reminds me too).  I'm really not violent.  I suppose it was just heaping up and up...

...the truth is the look on the guy's face after the punch was totally hilarious!

STILL, I didn't mean to be mean. =x

Okay, so I've been here for some time, but I, unfortunately, have not finished unpacking.  I am conscious of all the cartons sitting in one - wait not one -  all FOUR corners of the room.  But that's okay.  They can wait.  It's not like I'll be staying for just three days or something.  Things are a bit quiet around here, and I don't mean the academic areas -- they're always filled with lots of interesting people -- but right here in my room.  I haven't got a dorm mate.  I guess I'm too used to Flounder being around all the time.

I miss Daddy, and my sisters.  I wonder how they've been. I was planning to go shopping with Alana since she said she needed a new pair of heels, but I totally lost track of time and she ended up having to shop for her heels herself.

I guess I might go down to Atlantis Beach this weekend or something; the seashore is simply too inviting!
